Charlotte had a heart valve replaced 2 weeks ago and has been on a ventilator because of some breathing problems. She has recovered from the heart surgery really well, but is having problems coming off the ventilator. They have moved her to rehab to try to help get her off. Submitted by: Leslie Brooks | Joan is doing very well as far as her heart surgery goes, she has been moved back to the regular part of Mercy Hospital from the heart section. Her pain management for her back is not going very well, the doctors are having a difficult time regulating her medication and she continues to be in alot of pain. It will still be 4 to 6 weeks before they will be able to complete her back surgery. Please continue to lift her up in prayer daily, and for the family for continued strength. | 01-12-2012 |

Update on Allison
Submitted by: Robin | We saw the Lyme specialist in New York during the week of Thanksgiving. They took 30+ vials of blood and sent us home with 10 prescriptions and 8 supplements. We are very encouraged and yet overwhelmed. Allison has started on 3 probiotics and will begin antibiotics soon. Right now she is struggling with tolerating meds and experiencing a tremendous amount of pain, similar to when this started in the summer. She is very sensitive to touch.
