Operation Christmas Child is a great way to bring joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need of hope.” These are words from Franklin Graham, President, Samaritan’s Purse. We can be a part of this wonderful way to bring joy and hope to children in desperate situations world wide through gift filled shoe boxes. Pack a shoe box with toys, school supplies, hard candy, T-shirts, sunglasses, jewelry, watches, or other small gifts to help open hurting hearts to God’s love. If you would like, you may include a personal note to the child and a photo of you and your family. If you include your address, the child may actually write back.

Remember to wrap the lid separately from the box and designated it for a boy or a girl with the labels on the donation table. Please include $7 for each shoe box for shipping and project costs. A sample box is on display in the church foyer.

The power of your simple gift can make such a difference, put smiles on faces, and bring joy to others in need. Our church goal is to provide 200 gift boxes this year. All gift boxes need to be at the church by November 23rd.
